چکیده

جغرافیا به عنوان بستر تاریخ همواره نقش مهمی در شکل‌دهی به تحولات تاریخی ایفا کرده است. بیان وضعیت جغرافیایی یک منطقه از حیث موقعیت و اقلیم سبب درک بهتر رویدادهای سیاسی می‌شود و حتی بسیاری از مجهولات و نکات مبهم تاریخی را قابل فهم خواهد کرد. این پژوهش، از نوع پژوهش‌های کیفی و به دنبال یافتن عوامل جغرافیایی مؤثر بر شکل‌گیری حدود سرحدّات حکومت طاهریان است. اتکا منابع تاریخی بر ارائة گزارش رویدادهای سیاسی، ناخواسته سبب کم‌توجهی مورّخان و راویان به مکان شکل‌گیری آن حوادث شده است. بر این اساس برای بازشناسی قلمرو طاهریان از منابع غیرتاریخ‌نگارانه، به‌ویژه کتاب‌های جغرافیایی استفاده شده است. تاکنون نقش عوامل جغرافیایی در تشکیل سرحدات حکومت طاهریان، موضوع پژوهش مستقلی قرار نگرفته و فقط در چند کتاب مرتبط با تاریخ سلسله طاهری به‌صورت گذرا و کلی به حدود جغرافیای سیاسی آنان اشاراتی شده است. در نوشته حاضر سرحدات طاهریان بر مبنای جهت‌های چهارگانه و با حفظ ترتیب تاریخی حاکمان طاهری دوباره ترسیم شده است. در پایان با مراجعه به نقشه‌های موجود در چند  اطلس معتبر داخلی و خارجی، میزان انطباق گزارش‌های منابع مکتوب و نقشه‌های مزبور اعتبارسنجی  نقشه‌ای جدید پیشنهاد شده است.

چکیده [English]

Geography as a platform for history has always played an important role in shaping historical developments. Statement of the geographical situation of a region in terms of location and climate makes it easier to understand political events and even understand many obscure historical issues. This research is a type of qualitative research that seeks to find the geographic factors affecting the formation of the boundaries of the Taherian government. The reliance of historical sources on the reporting of political events has unintention caused historians and narrators to be underestimated ally where the events took place. Accordingly, non-historiographical sources, especially geographic books, have been used to identify Taherian territory, so far, the role of the geographic factors in the formation of the frontiers of the Taherian government has not been the subject of in dependent research, and only in some books related to the history of the Taheri dynasty have been tran siently and generally referred to the limits of their political geography.
In the present paper, the borders of Taherian keeping the historical order of the rulers of Taheri. Finally, by referring to the map sin some valid domestic and foreign atlases, the degree of compliance of written sources reports and these maps has been proposed as a new map validation.
