Nosratabad region as the center of town about a hundered (Km) north of west Zahedan–bam is on the way. In the writing of ancient historians and geographers of the city with titles such as Esbyz, Espe, Esfi, Sepeh and is named Sanij. Nosratabad geographical location as the only desert village between Kerman and Sistan is the cause of its importance. There are long–distance aqueducts and agricultural Lut desert, Nosratabad as the home of way for passengers and the trade caravan from west to east and Sistan – India trade had been transformed. The remaining munuments of the past in this place, such as minarets and an inn due to development is a demonstrator of governors. So that the Qajar period, in addition to commercial importance, due to the political and military situation, Nosratabad, more attention was paid to it by the king of the Qajar. These factors led to the construction of forts and military equipment and the prison provided in the region. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method to examine the historical geography of Nosratabad (based on the economic, political and military situation). </span> <br /><strong><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"> </span></strong> نصرت‌آباد در حال حاضر یکی از بخش­های شهرستان زاهدان به شمار می آید<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">.</span> مرکز این بخش نیز با عنوان شهر نصرت‌آباد در حدود صد کیلومتری شمال غرب زاهدان بر سر راه بم قرار دارد. در آثار مورخان و جغرافی­دانان قدیم از این شهر با عناوین مختلفی نظیر: اسبیذ، اسپه، اسفی، سپه و سنیج نام برده شده است. موقعیت جغرافیایی نصرت‌آباد به عنوان تنها آبادی میان کویر کرمان و سیستان موجب اهمیت آن شده است. وجود قنات و کشاورزی در مسافت طولانی کویر لوت، نصرت­آباد را به عنوان مهم‌ترین منزل بین راه برای مسافران و کاروان­های تجاری که از غرب به شرق و سیستان تا هندوستان به تجارت مشغول بودند، تبدیل نمود. آثار و بناهای بر جای مانده در این مکان از گذشته، نظیر مناره و کاروانسرا، نشانگر توجه حکام به آبادانی آن است؛ به گونه­ای که تا دورة قاجار، علاوه بر اهمیت تجاری، بدلیل موقعیت سیاسی و نظامی نصرت‌آباد، توجه بیشتری از سوی پادشاهان قاجار به آن معطوف شد. این عوامل موجبات بنای قلاع و تجهیزات نظامی و زندان را در این منطقه فراهم نمود. این پژوهش با روش توصیفی - تحلیلی به بررسی جغرافیای تاریخی نصرت­آباد (با تکیه بر موقعیت اقتصادی، سیاسی و نظامی) می­پردازد.<br />   https://localhistories.journals.pnu.ac.ir/article_5047_2a0ca9b3faca04d47a047b14ed47f101.pdf
